At electronica virtual 2020, Teiimo presented iinBo, a new system that detects a fall, recognizes it as emergency situation and immediately sends out notifications to prompt rescue or help initiatives. It has been conceived for use in Active Assisted Living, in private residencies and nursing homes.
Teiimo, one of the leading companies in the field of e-textiles, develops innovative textile integrated systems of sensors, electrodes, conductors and electronic devices for measuring, analyzing and transmitting biometric, motion and position data in real time and for post-session analysis. Miniaturized state of the art electronics including latest wireless communication technology and customized algorithms accompany the textiles. Based on the proprietary core technology the Teiimo team creates innovative textile-integrated systems for measuring and transmitting body and position data with a broad variety of applications in areas such as wellbeing, active assisted living, medical, sports and work safety. The systems are easy to use and machine washable. Teiimo is the winner of the electronica fast forward award 2018. The company was founded in 2014 by Markus Strecker, one of the pioneers in the wearable technology industry. Offices and labs are located in the Munich area. In 2017 Teiimo unveiled the iinMotion system, a novel training system for endurance athletes.
